Faculty Position Announcement

Penn State's Department of Labor Studies and Employment Relations engages in teaching, research, and outreach on all aspects of work and the employment relationship. Our students go on to careers in human resource management, labor relations, union organizing and representation, employment law, and government.
Courses in LSER address all aspects of the dynamic field of human resources and employment relations, including:The Department offers a range of options for study,
including traditional undergraduate and graduate programs, conferences for professionals, and online learning courses. The Department will begin offering a fully online Masters of Professional Studies in Human Resources and Employment Relations for professionals in the field beginning May 2008. Departmental Name Change
On July 1, 2006, the Department of Labor Studies and Industrial Relations changed its name to Labor Studies and Employment Relations. The change from "Industrial" Relations to "Employment" Relations was made in order to more clearly convey the focus of our major and our courses. For more information on the change, please click here.
